We are excited to announce that JAS Italy will participate in the Unindustria Pordenone Seminar taking place October 22. 2019 in Italy. This seminar is focused on providing prospectives on operational aspects for companies currently operating in the American marketplace. Singling out useful instruments to develop or perfect those companies knowledge of American law aspects, as well as fiscal and customs regulations that dictate business in the United States.
Keynote speaker Mr Giuseppe Roberto, JAS Route Manager USA & Canada, together with JAS Italy's Udine Branch Manager Mrs Stefania Morassi will speak on the U.S. marketplace and techniques to approach this market with success.
The main industries being discussed at this event are going to be furniture, “white goods”, and industrial manufacturing. There will be several other industries attending this event as well.
At the end of the event, a B2B meeting will be held and the JAS Italy team will be available to provide support and detailed information to our valued customers.
The Unindustria Pordenone Seminar was very positive and although it was considered a “local event”, the interest and turnout were well over the original expectations.
This event has given to JAS Italy the opportunity to introduce our U.S. Network and our service capabilities to some local companies which are beginning to approach the U.S. Market for the first time. JAS had the opportunity to prove our consolidate experience in the U.S. market and looks forward to assisting our partners and prospective partners move into the bustling U.S. marketplace.
We are proud to announce that JAS participated in the Transport & Logistic Fair in Munich, Germany during May 2019 for the first time. JAS had its own booth and the event was a great success. JAS Germany went above and beyond to create a unique and classy environment under the theme “sparkling solutions” to represent JAS at one of the most important events in the logistic field.
JAS welcomed many customers and potential clients for fruitful conversations and arising new partnerships. JAS took the chance to introduce the entire portfolio of JAS offered Solutions and explain who we are as an organization and what we are capable of with the powerful tools we have created for our customers.
Many JAS employees from around the world gathered in Munich to support and collaborate with one another, growing stronger as a global team. JAS is showing the world that they are modern and unique as a company and that their global team stands united and will go that extra mile to provide outstanding services and solutions to their valued customers.

JAS EMEA organized its Annual Management Meeting in Paris, France in early March. The group included all EMEA Regional Management, each Country Management and Country Sales Management, in addition an invitation of our Worldwide CEO, Marco Rebuffi, and our Sales & Marketing EVP, Stefano Redditi, as well as our Strategic Development EVP, John O’Connor, and the new Air Freight VP of JAS APAC, Jens Grimpe.
The event was very successful and celebrated the achievements and results JAS EMEA reached in 2017. This meeting also helps our team to align and establish the strong development strategies for the Region in 2018.
At the recent Intersolution fair in Ghent, Belgium held in January 2018, JAS Belgium received recognition from their customer, Vikram Solar, for their outstanding services provided to them. Vikram Solar is a globally recognized leading solar energy solutions provider, specializing in high efficiency PV module manufacturing and comprehensive EPC solutions. With international presence across 5 continents, they are an active contributor in shaping the solar revolution.
JAS Belgium manages Vikram Solar's European supply chain, covering warehousing, brokerage services and distribution within the region. JAS’ experience in handling solar panels of all kinds helps Vikram in their day to day supply chain, adding value and expertise towards their customers. JAS Belgium is delighted to have Vikram aboard.

Antwerp - Belgium - December 15th, 2017
JAS Belgium is pleased to announce that it is one of the first of three forwarders in Belgium to receive the Lean & Green Award presented by the VIL (Flemish Institute for Logistics) and the VEA (Union for Forwarders in Antwerp). The award recognizes companies who commit to reducing their CO2 emissions with at least 20% over a period of five years. As a service provider, JAS does not having any transport means of its own making this goal challenging!
JAS Worldwide - Belgium needed to compose an extensive Plan of Approach, measuring current CO2-emissions and presenting present and future efforts to reach the 20% goal. By linking every aspect of that plan to a key performance indicator, the JAS team would also be capable of measuring the impact of every part of the plan. The Plan of Approach was checked and verified by the University of Brussels, acting as a neutral evaluating party. As of December 2017 JAS - Belgium received the Lean & Green Award, recognizing efforts on reducing the carbon footprint.
As a freight forwarder JAS controls a number of of supply chains, so it does have the power to create a modal shift. Together with our customers JAS analyzes their current streams and pro-actively looks for potential improvements within their supply network. JAS not only raises awareness and highlights the importance of sustainability within the JAS organization, but also amongst its customers and suppliers.
Sam Jespers, Implementation Manager at JAS Forwarding Belgium, is convinced of the necessity of initiatives such as Lean & Green, “Sustainability is a topic high on the agenda of the majority of our customers. By participating in the Lean & Green program we concretize our efforts. Our Plan of Approach isn’t an informal statement but a true effective action plan! Every year, JAS holds mid-year sales events all over the world to evaluate sales efforts for the first half of the year and establish goals for the second half. Executive Vice President (EVP) of Sales and Marketing, Stefano Redditi attends most of these events around the globe. This year he was present for the events in United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Brazil, United States, China, Japan, Korea, and Mexico.
"The mid-year sales event is a key meeting for our sales people and me. During these meetings, each sales person has the opportunity to present his or her achievements and indicate the new targets for the remaining part of the year. JAS sales teams are second to none! This year’s events were the best ever” says Stefano Redditi, JAS EVP Sales & Marketing.
