ATLANTA, GA – July 7, 2026 – JAS, a global leader in logistics and supply chain solutions, announces the retirement of Leonardo Baldi, CEO of JAS Italy, as of July 1, 2026. Gianpaolo Belotti is the newly appointed CEO of JAS Italy.
Baldi’s career with JAS began more than 30 years ago as Sales Manager in Milan. He later served as Airfreight National Sales Director before being appointed Sales Director of Italy in 1999. Since 2006, he has led JAS Italy as CEO, guiding the organization through nearly two decades of growth and transformation while helping strengthen JAS’s presence in one of its most important global markets.
Throughout his career, Baldi has been recognized for his leadership, industry expertise, and long-standing commitment to the logistics community. Most recently, he received the Marina Marzani Lifetime Achievement Award at the Quality Award Italy 2025 ceremony, organized by ANAMA in partnership with SEA Aeroporti di Milano. The award recognizes individuals who have made meaningful contributions toward building a more resilient, efficient, and connected global supply chain.

As part of the leadership transition, JAS has appointed Gianpaolo Belotti as CEO of JAS Italy. Belotti joined JAS nine years ago as Milan Branch Manager and most recently served as VP Regional Area Lombardy and North-West Italy, a role he assumed in 2022. During his tenure, he has played a key role in supporting regional growth, strengthening customer relationships, and developing operational excellence across the organization.
“Gianpaolo represents the strength of JAS’s culture and commitment to developing talent from within,” added Rebuffi. “He has demonstrated strong leadership throughout his career with JAS, and I am confident he will continue building on the strong foundation Leonardo helped create.”
Baldi’s final day with the company was June 30, 2026. Following a planned leadership transition, Belotti officially assumed the role of CEO of JAS Italy on January 1, 2026, working closely alongside Baldi to ensure continuity for customers, partners, and employees during the transition period.
