With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare supply chain and logistics management, Derek has a wide breadth of pharma and medical device experience in the region. During his previous endeavors at various healthcare and logistics companies, he has set up and managed multiple supply chains, and developed healthcare recommendations and support solutions that built strong synergies between product, operations, and fulfilling customer needs. His leadership and in-depth knowledge of the industry trends and requirements are key drivers to meeting customer requirements and constantly developing innovative and compelling solutions for future demands.

JAS Italy is pleased to announce that effective Monday, November 21st, Daniele Massa has been named Regional (Italy) Account Manager.
Daniele grew up in the Genova Area and graduated from Bocconi University with Dual Major Degrees: Business Administration and Management + Master of Science in Management. He started in the industry working for a large container shipping company, where he covered a variety of strategic roles. Along with this past experience he also brings with him the knowledge gained from working as Global Account Manager.

JAS Worldwide, a global logistics provider headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, has signed an exclusive, long-term agreement with Swissport Cargo Services, a leading provider of air cargo handling and airport ground services. Effective 01 January 2022, Swissport will handle JAS Pharma and Healthcare freight in its multi-purpose warehouse in Cargo City South at Frankfurt am Main airport, Germany.

In addition, the facility will be seamlessly integrated with the JAS dedicated freighter network Blue World Atlantic, pairing secured capacity with end-to-end cold chain handling.
