The customer operates in the aerospace industry, specializing in the design and production of remotely piloted aerial vehicles, commonly referred to as drones.
JAS received a charter request from the customer to transport more than 30 pieces of freight, totaling 25,000 kilograms, from the United States to a remote military base under strict budget requirements.
After working through several constraints, JAS flew the cargo directly into the destination country. To ensure precise and timely delivery, two JAS team members oversaw the freight loading in the United States. Their on-site presence enabled them to promptly address any issues and prevent delays.
Once the cargo landed in its destination country, trucking services were utilized to transport it to a nearby city for clearance under bond-by passing cross-border customs issues that could potentially impede the shipment. After the completion of the truck leg, the cargo reached its final destination-the military base.
JAS facilitated the swift movement of the cargo at a door-to-door price significantly lower than the customer’s initial expectation. The plan’s execution went smoothly, avoiding previously anticipated customs issues, and the cargo arrived at the military base safely and on time.
