The Bruni Foundation was born out of a desire to make the world a better place.
In 1978, Mr. Biagio Bruni founded JAS. Driven by compassion and dedication to humanitarian causes, forty years later, in 2018, he and his family established the Bruni Foundation.
The Bruni Foundation’s mission revolves around supporting social and environmental causes. Rooted in the belief that businesses should be agents of positive change, the foundation primarily focuses on four key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
- Quality Education
- No Poverty
- Clean Water and Sanitation
- Zero Hunger
The Bruni Foundation’s impact is centered on two primary actions:
- Partnerships with NGOs – Working alongside Non-Profit Organizations to finance global projects and distribute relief goods in times of emergency.
- Corporate Volunteering – Empowering JAS employees through the PAY IT FORWARD program to volunteer in local communities, addressing critical social and environmental needs.
The PAY IT FORWARD program focuses on volunteer projects around the world where JAS employees support local communities and the environment. These partnerships address important social issues, help vulnerable populations, and promote activities that protect the natural world.
In 2023, a global corporate volunteering policy and application process was introduced to encourage employees to propose and undertake volunteer projects, allowing them to dedicate up to 16 hours of work per year to these initiatives.
In addition, up to 1% of JAS’s net profits will be proudly allocated to social and environmental projects, both from the support of non-profit organizations and the PAY IT FORWARD volunteer program.
