In response to the damage caused by Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas, JAS Worldwide provided support to and operated 2 Charters on behalf of one of their VIP customers with relief goods to the Bahamas. The supply contained much needed items like medicine, food items, and water.
JAS Worldwide is proud to be able to offer support together with their business partners in the case of emergencies and for those that are in need during disastrous times. This is the value that the logistic and transportation industry can facilitate for others during times of crisis.
Such an operation wouldn't have been possible without the passionate and dedicated work of the people at JAS who worked relentlessly and non-stop for two days to design a solution and to follow through with the operation.
"It is great to see how people come together so quickly and help others in need. This was only successful through teamwork. This are the moments where I am proud to be part of this organization and industry" says Dirk Ravensteiner, Senior Director Air Freight for JAS USA.
Thank you also to our customer for entrusting JAS Worldwide for this dedicated operation.

JAS Corporate Headquarters partnered with Netflix to film multiple episodes of upcoming production, Raising Dion. Many of you may be familiar with Executive Producer, Michael B. Jordan from Black Panther and/or the Creed movies. We were privileged to have the show’s original creator, Dennis Liu, onsite contributing to the action. It was an exciting five days having cast, crew, and multiple tractor-trailers on site.
We are happy to announce Raising Dion will be available on Netflix Friday, October 4, for any who have a subscription. The teaser, just released, features a brief shot inside JAS. Once the link is open, you may position your cursor at the bottom of the screen; at second-counter :24/1.42, to see a brief shot taken inside our World Wide Headquarters lobby.
Remember to tune in Friday, October 4. Will be fun to look for JAS scenes throughout the series!
JAS is proud to have had the opportunity to participate in the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) Fall Supplier Management Council Meeting, hosted by Bell. As a new member to the AIA, this meeting allowed JAS to listen and learn from many experts in the field and to also contribute our knowledge as it relates to supply chain and logistics.
This meeting was a platform for various industry leaders to discuss issues that impact the aerospace and defense logistics networks and better understand the challenges that lay ahead for the industry. The meeting covered topics ranging from cyber-security to vertical lift and on demand mobility.
This council meeting provided JAS the opportunity to continue our expansion into not only a key sector for us, but a growing and important fundamental tenet of the US economy. It was a pleasure to be part of this event in Fort Worth. JAS is investing heavily in this sector with dedicated personnel and tailored services to support ongoing global demand for reliable and dynamic supply chain partners.
