JAS Italy - Oil & Energy Division - finalized with the Italian company STF SpA an important contract for the organization and execution of necessary transportation and logistic solutions for 2 Heat Recovery Steam Generators being part of the Enel Viesgo/Thermo-Electric Power Plant Project in Algeciras, Spain.

In the next 6 months there will be approximately 24,000 cbm of steel structures, 60% of which are over-gauged (up to 31 mts length) or Heavy-lift (up to 92 tons), that will depart from various Italian ports on 5 specially appointed chartered vessels heading to Algeciras, and from where will be trans-loaded "on-wheels" directly to the Plant site located 30 kms from the arrival pier.

For standard weight & size materials the Oil & Energy Division managed to arrange approximately 250 dedicated trailers to be boarded on Ro-Ro vessels and 40’ Flat Rack containers on Lo-Lo vessels, offering regular service from Italian ports to Spain.
