Most recently JAS Houston handled yet another drawworks for one of Noble Drilling’s offshore oilrigs from origin in Edmonton, AB via Houston to Singapore. The 190,000 lbs piece was railed to Houston on a special multi-axle railcar and as usual timing was of the essence. Due to heavy rainfalls in the Midwest, the railcar had to be re-routed to circumvent flooded areas, but made in to Houston in the nick of time. Ingo Schmidt of JAS Houston personally supervised the loading on board the vessel.

Again, a job well done by JAS Houston.
