Together with the precious cooperation of JAS Benelux a quite unusual shipment has been successfully completed.

A canal barge by the name of "Xavierre" was specifically built in Auckland for the owners to cruise the canals of Europe.

The barge is 11.8 meters long, 3.7 meters wide, 3.3 meters high and weighs 16 tons. It was lifted out of the water in Auckland and loaded onto a specifically built cradle on the deck of the Seatrade vessel "Condor Bay" for its voyage to Antwerp where it arrived 36 days later.

On arrival "Xavierre" was placed directly into the water and the waiting owners were then able to live onboard before setting off into the canals from the port.

JAS Benelux faultlessly arranged clearance and handling at destination in Antwerp.
