Carter Holt Harvey, a major New Zealand company and client of our local Jas, are undertaking a huge upgrade of their plant in Whakatane NZ, which manufactures carton board from wood pulp.
The upgrade required the importation of machineries and spare parts. A number of containerized shipments totaling forty 40' containers were shipped to New Zealand from UK.
In addition and even more challenging were 3 large and heavy cases (2 of them measured 6.90 mt in length, 2.22 mt in width and 3.38 mt in height and weighed 23.560 kg each; the 3rd one was even larger and heavier measuring respectively 7.70 x 2.64 x 3.40 mt and weighing 28.120 kg) that were shipped on the Seatrade reefer vessel Spring Dragon.
For this same project JAS NZ also handled sea freights from USA, Brazil, Sweden, Finland and Canada and few large airfreight shipments from USA, UK, France and Germany (one of these was a 50 cbm weighing 17.432 kg from Germany).

JAS has one more time shown its professionalism and impeccable service in this massive project in NZ with the cooperation between JAS Jenners Worldwide Ltd. and mainly, but not only, JAS UK - Manchester office.
Katrina Jenner and Phil Gibbs have been instrumental in ensuring the smooth delivery of all the shipments within a very tight preplanned time frame so that the factory shutdown and upgrade proceeded without delay.
Thanks to excellent JAS intercommunication, service and good relationship with the shipping lines and airlines selected, the time schedules have been met and the major upgrade of JAS NZ happy customers is now progressing.
