JAS Italy announces the satisfactory completion of a complex shipment for the customer Saporiti Italia, related to the wedding of Her Royal Highness Princess Sara Al Saud. JAS transported nine containers (40’ and 40 HC) by sea, plus 86 m³ by air. 

The shipment peculiarity resides in the lack of room for delays: between the preparation of the shipment and the requested delivery date there were only 3-5 days, not much for a maritime shipment.

JAS, through its exclusive agent Continental Freight in Riyadh, was able to deliver at the Al Faisaliah Hotel on 26/27/28 April 2008 between 10:30PM and 4AM, with a large number of forklifts and crew involved in the goods unloading.

A further factor that made this shipment special was the large array of commodities transported in the nine containers, which included decorative wall panels, lighting supporting structures, photographic reflectors, white leather sofas, and 6" tall ceramic vases. A very large crystal sliding door was also part of this ocean shipment.

Careful loading planning and flexible cooperation between JAS Italy and Continental Freight allowed delivering a fully satisfactory service to the client Saporiti Italia, which employed a crew of 45 to assemble the goods delivered by JAS at the Al Faisaliah Hotel.
