JAS Forwarding (Scandinavia) AB, was established in Sweden on Sep 01, 2003. Since the start the Scandinavian market has shown great interest in the global company JAS and it’s efforts to always please and serve it’s customers not only on a global scene but also locally.

JAS in Scandinavia’s scope of work is Ocean and Airfreight forwarding, Local Distribution and Heavy project handling and Warehousing.

The aim of JAS in Sweden has since the start been to always serve the needs and demands by it’s customers by own personal and as such on April 1, 2009 JAS opened it’s own warehouse in Gothenburg consisting of approx 1200 square meters with a completely bonded warehouse from which we can operate our various services to be just the tool for our global organisation says Johan Björklund, Regional Managing Director of JAS in Scandinavia.   

In this warehouse we can not only store our customers cargo or physically handle the goods on inbound or outbound flows, we can also offer pick and pack for our customers and quite a sophisticated storage broken down to article level as bonded cargo. We also provide crating and testing of our customers cargo if needed.

JAS Sweden has since day one been a certified partner to the Swedish Customs Authorities and with this new warehouse we tightened the bands with the authorities even more and at same time open up a new lane for work for our customers and our organisation.

We are proud to announce that we are able to live up to our customers high demands and that the global company JAS has a flexible and strong partner up north in Europe.

One of the first customers “ Salming Hockey AB “  has decided to use JAS in Sweden as their warehouse for the European markets. The brand name Salming and the company is owned by one of the worlds famous ice hockey legends. Mr. Börje Salming. He played 17 years in the NHL and where as the first European inducted in the “ HHOF “ Hockey Hall Of Fame.

This will be a great opportunity to show the differents between other forwarders and JAS says Johan, we are not only a multinational company we are also a local reliable partner to our customers.  On the global scene we are eager to perform and go the extra mile to make sure that products are delivered in time and in a right condition.
