The facilities are already fully operational, handling all types of perishable commodities especially fresh cut flowers to worldwide destinations. The import volumes also increased substantially.

The facilities are located on-airport in Johannesburg and Cape Town International Airports which shortens the cold chain and reduces unnecessary handling. The 3 temperature controlled rented cold rooms at Johannesburg International airport offers a total of 4760 Cbm cold storage. The three temperature controlled cold rooms at Cape Town International Airport owned by JAS Forwarding offers a total of 554 Cbm cold storage. Both facilities also offers “Forced Air Cooling” designed especially for flowers in order to reach specific temperatures within a certain time frame.

The facilities also host state of the art handling equipment needed for the professional handling of perishable products.
