JAS Jenners Worldwide moves yacht built in 1897. Jas Jenners Worldwide Ltd have recently completed the delicate task of importing the yacht “THELMA” from Europe into Auckland.

The Yacht “THELMA” is no ordinary yacht - it was built in Auckland in 1897 by the Logan Brothers. Logan Brothers were well known in NZ for excellence in all things associated with yachting.

At 60 ft overall, THELMA was the largest yacht ever built by Logans and no expense was spared in her building.

THELMA departed from NZ in the 1940s, spent some time in USA, and then on the Mediterranean Sea. She will now be extensively restored in Auckland back into her original race trim and will race on Auckland Harbour in conjunction with other restored classic yachts.

Jas Jenners Worldwide is pleased to have been able to work with SEATRADE New Zealand to enable this valuable classic old yacht to be returned to Auckland on the Seatrade vessel ‘HAWK BAY’.

The shipment was completed safely and to everyone’s satisfaction.
